Railway Recruitment Cell — East Coast Railway, Bhubaneswar, Orissa, is recruiting 400 males/ females for the post of “Helper—II”.  Madhyamik pass or ITI boys and girls may apply for the post. Application form is to be submitted on prescribed format within the last dates, as mentioned below. Eligibility criteria and norms are given below in brief. Employment Notice No. ECoR/RRC/D/2012
RECRUITMENT OF 400 MALES/ FEMALES AS ‘HELPER—II (Group-D)’ IN EAST COAST RAILWAY, BHUBANESWAR.  RAILWAY RECRUITMENT CELL - EMPLOYMENT NOTICE NO. ECoR/RRC/D/2012

1. Helper—II: 400 Nos. (Gen—202; SC—60; ST—30; OBC—108). Out of them 15 Nos. for PWD candidates

Qualification: Class 10 pass or ITI or equivalent. Candidates waiting result should not apply.

Age: between 18yrs to 33yrs as on 01/01/2012. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST—5yrs, OBC—3yrs, PWD—10yrs and others—as per norms.

Pay Scale: Rs.5200—Rs.20200 and Grade pay of Rs.1800 per month.

Selection steps: Selection of candidates will be through Written Examination and Physical Efficiency Test (PET).
Written Examination will be of Class 10 standard consisting of multiple choice objective type questions, mainly aimed to assess general knowledge / general awareness / mathematics / general science / reasoning etc.
Candidates who will qualify Written Examination will be called for Physical Efficiency Test.
Physical Efficiency Test will be of—
For Male: Run of 1500 mtrs in 6 minutes
For Female: Run of 400 mtrs in 3 minutes

Examination Fee: Candidates should prepare Demand Draft or Indian Postal Order of Rs.40/- in favour of—Assistant Personnel Officer (Recruitment), East Coast Railway, Bhubaneswar, and payable at ‘Bhubaneswar’
SC/ST/ Women/ Ex-Serviceman/ PWD/ Minority candidates and candidates whose family income is less than 50000/ per year need not pay Examination fee.

How to Apply: Candidates should prepare Application form on plain A4 size paper according to the prescribed format and then fill it with own handwriting. The application format and details is available on the official website of East Coast Railway, Bhubaneswar — http://www.rrcbbs.org.in
The application form should be enclosed with, firmly stitched, with all the Attested copies of testimonials in support of Qualification, Age, Caste, PH certificate and any other documents in support of eligibility.

The application form enclosed with testimonials may be sent by Ordinary Posts at — “Assistant Personnel Officer(Recruitment), Railway Recruitment Cell, East Coast Railway Headquarters, Office of the Chief Personnel Officer, 2nd Floor, South Block, Rail Sadan, PO-Mancheswar, Bhubaneswar, Orissa - 751017”
Alternatively, application form can be also dropped into the Drop-Box kept at the premises of above address.

Candidates should superscribe the envelope in bold — “Application for recruitment against E. N. No.ECoR/RRC/D/2012”.

Last Date: Application should reach by Ordinary post or can be submitted in person on or before 24th September 2012. (01st October 2012 for candidates from Andaman,  Nicober & Lakshadweep).

ADMIT CARD EXAM DATE EASTERN RAILWAY RECRUITMENT GROUP D KOLKATA 2012

         In reference to notification No. 0110 issued by this office on 14/12/10 
for recruitment of 8865 Group-D staff,  the Written  Examination will be held on  the
following dates at different Centres in Sealdah, Howrah, Asansol, Malda and Port Blair :-

                                                                                                       
       Admit Cards of eligible candidates are being dispatched. The list of invalid application has been posted on the website of RRC-ER (www.rrcer.com). The eligible candidates may also see their date of written examination in the website.

          If a candidates does not receive his/her Admit Card 7 days before the scheduled date of examination, he/she may contact the office of RRC-ER for issue of duplicate  Admit Card as per the following schedule :-

          On all above dates, except Saturdays, Sundays & holidays, duplicate Admit Card will be issued from 11:00 Hrs to 17:00 Hrs.

          Candidates coming for duplicate call letter/correction in call letters must appear in person and bring with them one pass port size photograph, original certificates of proofs of identity, date of birth, and  one copy each of  the same.

        Any inquiry relating to admit Card and date of examination can also be made on Call Centre telephone Nos. The telephone Nos. of Call Centres will be hosted on 25/04/2012 onward from 10:00 A.M. to 05:30 P.M. daily, except Sunday & public holidays.
